    Description

    1984 Lincoln Cent, Doubled Die Obverse, FS-101, Superb Gem BU certified PCGS MS-67RD.
    It does not get much better than this, as there are 195 PCGS coins in the grade, with only 39 better (March, 2021) - not many for a modern coin that was available in almost bag quantity at one time. Very clean surfaces, the principle difference between this and an MS-68 is the slightly bumpy or “pebbled” surfaces typical of the early 1980’s Copper-plated Zinc Cents. This example is cleaner than most such coins, with nice obvious doubling. Only 16 coins at CAC, I would think this coin would have no problem with receiving a “bean” if submitted.  As for price, unfortunately you can thank ebay’s idiotic new 15% fee regime – I am more than happy to sell for less under different circumstances.
