classic
Art Deco 1920s era platinum filigree necklace and recently made matching earrings with diamonds and blue sapphires.  The necklace is about 15" around with delicate chain.  Pendant is 2-3/4" high.  Appraisal from 1970 found, see photo. It states there are 43 "fine quality old European cut diamonds and 11 calibrated square cut blue sapphires for a TCW of approx. 2.75 carats.  Sapphires weigh about 65/100 carat.
Total weight = 10 grams.
The necklace was purchased at an estate sale c.1960.  The pierced earrings were made in 1970, by the same jeweler in Miami, Florida who copied the pendant drop of the necklace, and used genuine diamonds and similarly (not exact) bluish sapphires, as compared in the photos.
Any hallmarks were't seen in photo shooting session, but could be somewhere in very tiny stampings.
Condition: Excellent, no damage or missing stones.  Note antique or vintage items may show normal display patina and minor wear from use, moves and storage.  Please zoom into photos and see details up close before buying.
