It might need a couple of washing or aging to soften the canvas to look more like the Japanese fabric
but the dimension is the same as the Japanese chinstrap dimension. Good for a Japan helmet project on a GI reworked shell or broken shell. Not meant for replacing your 0-1500 helmet's chinstrap.
