Rare Chinese Yixing Pouring Pitcher

Description

Up for bid is a rare Chinese Yixing pouring pitcher.  Unfortunately some misinformed person for some unknown reason removed the seal which almost all Yixing pottery pieces have on the base.  The only other damage is a few chips on the spout ( see photo).     It has an embossed dragon around the body (see photo).  It is 7 1/4" high with the cover and has a 4 1/4" dia. base.             (C 1362)
